Mission:

Cumberland Methodist Preschool's mission is to provide quality early childhood education and care that will nurture our students spiritually, academically and socially in an environment where Jesus Christ and His Kingdom are placed first.  We strive to develop well rounded children who are happy, secure, confident, and eager to learn.

The preschool has remained true to those standards, strengthening them as the program expanded.  Cumberland Preschool functions as a ministry to the community on behalf of Cumberland Methodist Church.

 

Established in 2000, Cumberland Preschool was founded by a small group of dedicated church members who recognized the need for a quality church-based preschool in the surrounding community.  The preschool is designed to provide children with age-appropriate learning experiences that will enhance their continuing growth and development.

 

Children are involved each day in planned learning activities using the curriculum High Reach Learning that is designed to provide the basic academic and intellectual habits and skills required for success in secondary school.
