We do offer a discount for families with multiple children enrolled.
Does my child need to be potty trained?
Students in our 3 and 4 year old classes need to be fully potty trained prior to starting school. Students in the 2 year old class do not need to be potty trained.
Will my child have nap time while at school?
No, we are so busy during the day we do not have nap time. If your child naps, we recommend adjusting their nap time until after school ends to prepare them for a fun day at school!
Do you allow pacifiers and bottles at school?
No, we do not permit pacifiers or bottles while at school. Please send a filled water bottle for your child. You can begin having your child practice drinking out of a water bottle prior to school starting.
Do I need to pack a snack for my child?
No, you do not need to pack a snack. We provide snack for our students daily. We do offer the opportunity to sign up to bring in snacks for the whole class for special days.
Can I send in a special treat for my child's birthday?
Absolutely, we love celebrating with our students on their special day! Please speak with your child's teacher to make arrangements to bring in special treats.
When is the first day of school?
We have a back to school orientation the last Wednesday in August, so your child can come in and meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and get comfortable for their first day of school! School starts the first Wednesday after Labor Day.
Where do I drop-off and pick-up my child?
You take your child directly to their classroom and drop-off and pick-up your child with your child's teacher. This gives the opportunity for parent-teacher communication daily.
Does your school follow a traditional school calendar?
We follow Cumberland County Schools calendar for school holidays, closures, and inclement weather delays/cancellations. Families will receive a yearly calendar at our back to school orientation, and reminders and updates can be found on the Playground app and Facebook.
Does my child need to be immunized?
Yes, students need to provide a copy of their up-to-date immunization records and current physical signed by their doctor by October 1st.
Will there be time for outdoor play at school?
Yes! All classes go outside for recess every day weather permitting. It is important for students to have time for outdoor free play with friends and to get their wiggles out ever
